What is couples coaching?

Couples coaching to help you and your partner improve your relationship.

Support with conflict, communication problems, trust issues, adjustment challenges, feelings of disconnection, or separation.

We will work to identify issues, understand feelings, correct negative behavior patterns, improve communication, and implement new conflict resolution skills to rebuild your bond.

Can mental health coaching be done online?

Yes! Expat Emotional Wellness offers video call coaching sessions. Meet with a mental health coach online from the comfort of your own home.

When can I start?

Right away! No referral required, no wait list!

You do not need a referral to start services. You can start immediately; there is no wait list!

What language are services in?

All services are offered in English! I am a native English speaker.

How much does coaching cost?

Expat Emotional Wellness offers several types of coaching sessions.

Rates for Individual Mental Health Coaching:

€ 45 per 30 minute session
€ 90 per 60 minute session

Rates for Couples Coaching:

€ 120 per 60 minute session
€ 160 per 90 minute session

When was Expat Emotional Wellness founded?

Expat Emotional Wellness was founded in June 2021.

Expat Emotional Wellness has been offering mental health coaching services to expats for over 2 years!

How much experience do you have in mental health?

I have ten years of experience in mental health coaching, medical social work, community case management, and school social work.

I have diverse experience providing psychotherapy to clients. I provided individual and group psychotherapy to adolescents at a high school in Minnesota. In this role, I provided psychotherapy to clients with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, PTSD, history of trauma, dissociation, and abusive relationships. As a medical social worker, I provided solution-focused brief therapy for adults struggling with their mental health and chemical dependency.

What is your education and training?

I have Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from Concordia College and Master of Social Work degree from University of St. Thomas. Both degrees have been validated by Nuffic, the Dutch organization for internationalization in education.

I am a professional coach registered at the largest organization for professional coaching in the Netherlands.

In my Master of Social Work program, I studied a vast variety of types of psychotherapy, theories, and perspectives. Several theories that resonate with me include psychodynamic theory, solution-focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing, attachment theory, self-psychology, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
